Human town behavior
« on: October 22, 2009, 11:49:20 am »

I'm thinking of embarking on a human town in a peculiar form of challenge, but first, I'd like to get some answers to guide my requirements:

1) Do humans in a human town breed / have children?  Or is it what you've got, you've got, and that's it?

2) Do they die of old age?  Eat?  Sleep?

3) If they die, will others get angry and turn hostile? Can they get upset and go berserk?

4) Aesthetics aside, is there any penalty to claiming the goods in the shops?

Also, you can manufacture vomit at a smelter.  Subsequently removing the smelter spews vomit over a surprising area.

They do not breed. (I know because I made a Human Fortress on an existing town and it lasted for 20 years, and no breeding occurs)

They live forever from what I've seen. (The human liason in flamechannels survived for 200 years, so I can only assume so.)

They don't go berserk from death of loved ones. (I've tried)

And no, you can steal whatever you want. They don't mind.

They aren't really suppoused to be immortal though. It may just be the way the game handles embarking on such sites and worldgen.
