(OOC: Bulborbish, your supposed to post in OOC when not in character.)

Asakoth studied the new race in his domain. A being a law finally existed, and from the basic mold, a new hope would arise. But law was still not strong enough. It could not fight, it needed something no weapon, no armor, and no magic could provide. A great leader. This leader would have to be selected by divine means, for no other method would continue the law.

Create Herald: Free Action

To this Archon a simple message began: "Gather your people, living in this plane, for the message of law is about to be sent." It was all he could do to begin a new age for his domain. He looked around and realized the lineage of this Archon would be loyal to law. But people will argue, fight, and go to war over who will inherit his linage. So, it was decided a new concept shall arise, the concept of hereditary rule.

Teach Populous: Hereditary Rule (2/3 AP Left)

With the idea taught into their minds, Asakoth knew that the organization of the populous is still yet undetermined. Knowing the populous still has not decided a leader, he sent a commandment out:

“Listen to this man, my herald, for he is to rule you for life. He shall keep you on the correct path to law, and his son shall take up his mantle upon his death. From that point onward, his family is to be considered royal blood, and the eldest, if still in a position to do so, shall take up the throne.”
Create Organization: Asako Kingdom (0/3 AP Left)

Asakoth looked upon the remainder of the world before he would return to his slumber. His herald was indeed had succeeded with his message. When he returned, he knew his herald would have an heir and an heir after that. Beyond that indeed, the 14th in linage to the throne would be ruling. He began to start his slumber again… his work was done for now…

In the plane of shadow Wheel continued rotating, and beneath lay a barren reflection of the material world, it had been this way since its creation, but now, something stirred. Dark forms scurried between rocks, ghostly forms gracefully drifted through the air with a subdued hum, and trails spread from burrows into the world at large, seeking to add to their collections. Soon the shadows were filled with uncountable eyes, observing all, and casually abandoned trinkets would be stored and secured.
Some of these creatures drifted into the material plane, and, lacking the sustenance of their home, quickly became voracious, and would be regarded as a pest by the peoples of that world.
But back in the shadows, Wheels eternally revolving will continued as the new creatures were surveyed. Eventually the attention of the deity rested upon a single scarab, as the deity turned overhead the scarab made circles in the dust, and grew, and changed. Its legs shifted forwards, its head grew from its body and gained great articulation, it grew two long arms tipped with fine pincers, while its wings retracted and its carapace grew thicker. It grew a venom in its pincers that would cause lethargy and paralysis. Then, at about a metre in length, this centaurian hybrid of a scarab and a preying-mantis' growth stopped.
And it became aware of things, its desires were renewed, it sought to collect, to study, and to protect and hide. It sought to gather knowledge and uniqueness from the world and keep it safely hidden in the darkness where only those who respected it would be allowed to find it. And then it became aware of agreement, it turned and saw what it had felt, another like it, but with a fragile shell and mighty wings, and then it felt many others about, and that they felt many more. It then felt a sense of unity with the others, they were its allies and together they would form a united will.

They sensed that they were different to the smaller creatures, and took a name, they would identify themselves as the Ankh'heg. And then a new will swept over them, that of their creator. It beckoned for communities to be formed, with the largest in the south in the shadow of their revolving deity. They began observing the shifting of their world as it reflected the changes of another.

(this is a link to the out of character thread, please drop by if you are still interested)

As the eternally revolving Wheel gazed upon the shadows the shadows gazed upon the common insects within them. In time the vermin became like shadows themselves to better suit their home. Wheel's rotating purpose grew stronger with the shadows. Many things would need to be done.

Much had been done to protect the southern reaches. An impenetrable wall of mountains blocked approach from above and a host of fell beasts guarded the caves below. But still the chaos beyond encroached. The hatred within all things of that world would surface and provoke violence. While small in number there were some burellies within that would pursue conflict with the scribbles. Wheel revolved and observed, and acted!
Deep within the shadows of the Barrier range a great rotation began. Beneath it, all was darkness. Within the darkness there was a swirling ring of dark, immaterial fabrics. From that ring emerged a horde of insectile creatures that swarmed into the valley.
A great rotating will bore down on the valley, those most pure amongst the scribbles felt it and were compelled towards the ring, escorted by the newcomers. Those Burellies present that still lived for the games, and had not been swayed be recent chaos were set upon by a merciless sleep, and also whisked into the darkness. Those that had been consumed by the the conflicts felt a great unwelcomeness, and fled into the maze, or remained and were unravelled. Those that remained were given a choice, sanctuary, or exile. They could remain and seek to fulfil their own unique nature, or leave and embrace the world beyond. Those that remained were taken to the heart of the lands and granted such seclusion as they desired, those that left were escorted safely through the maze to the lands beyond, and left there.

Wheels rotating gaze observed the diminishing of the moon's shadow. While the cause remained mysterious the memory would not. Casting its revolving will into the heavens a copy of the moon was crafted and maintained orbiting opposite the fading original. Though imperfect, it would serve as a reminder.

A brightly glowing scribble wanders through some caves, then vanishes forever...
