Interface: custom viewpoints
« on: October 30, 2006, 10:51:00 pm »

1. User defined viewpoints just as "g" works for predefined (gate).
Say Shift-Alt-<Num>, where <Num> = 1,2..9,0
sets appropriate viewpoint, Alt-<Num> restores it.
Implementation seems quite easy and straitforward.

2. For all cases when arrow press moves cursor one square on the map add Shift-<Arrow> to move fast (as in default mode). Mining long burrows and defining large woodcutting zones would be much faster.

These have both been suggested before, the second part about scrolling speed very recently (in fact, there's still a post about it on the front page of this forum, near the bottom).
