Is a Cat not good enough for you!!!!
« on: October 17, 2009, 03:56:01 am »

Bloody Orcs...

I have a nice little spot for my Junior Marksmen to shoot at you. The gates are up so you can't come in. Yes I know that you do. BUT there is a nice little Kitty there, come on don't be shy....

OH FOR PETE'S SAKES come attack the kitten..!!!

If you haven't guessed despite there being an animal outside my gates chained up with pathing to it able to be done. The Orcs remain on the Maps edge. I open the gates and they rush towards the fort, close it and they stop still. Seriously whats wrong with a Cat snack before you become Pincushions...

Maybe they aren't so stupid as they think they are? Or they are scared of kittens and their mind controlling powers

Or your kitten doesn't qualify as a civilian target, maybe due to being the child state of a cat *orcs might have values on this* or it isnt a tame stray belonging to you

I've been having the same problem exactly. I can't figure it out. But I'm using a pet named at the back of some 200 odd weapon traps.

Total number of gobbies dead by these halls of doom? 0
Total number of attempts to get past the normal traps? 0

I MEAN COME ON!!!!

What about using elves or humans or nobles as a bait?

Why not just set up a long hallway that's two stories tall, and make cat walks for marksmen?

Lol catwalks. No pun intended.

The only percievable reason I see for this is lack of a tag in the creature raw that makes the orcs uninterested in hunting down the kitties, compared to goblins anyway *they fall for this stuff right?*

Try adding the [BONECARN] tag to the orc creature raw that might work its one thing I see goblins have that orcs don't, but them eating bones would make things more fun anyway
