Getting GCS to spawn...

NOT ONCE in this game have I had the fun of finding a GCS. Not once, every Epic map I need for my plans never have a GCS so suddenly they are less epic then first thought...

Now I don't want to use cheats/utilities/modding to get one. I just need to know what Factors make a GCS spawn...

They only appear in chasms.  That and luck are the only requirements.

EDIT: They do start out hidden, so if you have a chasm you may have GCS and not know it.

Actually, if you export the world info from the legends and check the site and pops txt, you can sometimes find GCS inhabiting caves.

Otherwise its luck of the draw.

They also appear on Bottomless Pits aswell. Dwarf Heaven has 3, 2 in the Chasm, and one in the Pit, but I didn't have anything to build with it...

I onceh ad the unfortunate luck to have a chasm next to my magma source, While going to dig a rout for magma to go from there to my new fort (didnt wanna waste time and give everything time to move to the surface) I happened upon a GCS.  Man those things are creepy.
