Problems with Premade Worlds (Large Image)
« on: October 10, 2009, 03:48:54 pm »

I have recently tried using premade worlds for the first time to get the perfect location, but I am having a problem. On every one I try, I go to the exact correct location but the place is wrong, usually in amount of trees and vegetation, and doesnt have everything it is meant to (Used Reveal and VisDwarf). An example:

I am using the Dwarf Fortress ++ repack from the DF file site, but AFAIK it doesnt have any mods, just tilesets.
What am I doing wrong?

In order to improve the universe's frame rate, we must all throw rocks into volcanoes and then do absolutely nothing, worldwide, for a week, to take pressure off pathfinding.

The only difference I'm seeing between the pictures is the selected biome - press F1/F2 to select each one and view its details.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
