Tents, Carpets and cloth things. (buildings)

Hi,

I'd like to know if it is possible to mod the raws, metagloss, or other files to allow carpet and tent building.

Ideally, this would allow "carpets" to be built over floors and "roofs" to be built for "tents." Likewise, walls made out of cloth would be walls for tents.

(It's no more ridiculous than walls made out of soap....)

Color coding would be optimal with dyes.

In that same vein, is there a way to produce more dyes with different colors?

At the moment, such things are hardcoded. However, the next release will include the ability to create custom buildings, though it's still some months off. I eagerly look forward to such things as tents for the homeless and grand rugs for the nobility.

Its impossible. Unless, you make the certain plant a tree and instead of blocks its tarp or something.

Related to this: I thought it would be neat if there were tapestries (or something equivalent). I like to forge nice platinum chains and put them in nobles' rooms and pretend that they are tapestries.  ;D
