I just caught three ogres in cage traps, at least one male and female, and was wondering if I can throw them in a pit somewhere and have them make sweet ogre love. Problem is, I don't know how to read a creature entry! I do notice that they don't have a CHILD:# tag, so, I was suspecting that maybe they just don't have kids. Could someone fill me in?
Also, if they can't, how can I tell? Do creatures need the CHILD tag to be able to reproduce? If not, what is it? Etc.

Vanilla ogres don't have a CHILD:# tag, so they don't have kids. If you want them to have children, add in a [CHILD:10] tag or something, with the number being how many years it takes for them to grow to adults.

Eh, modding in a previously vanilla game always makes me feel uncomfortable. That and it's a succession game.

Oh well. I'm sure I can find other things to do with 3 ogres. Arena?

Or, if anybody else has hilarious ideas, possibly involving magma, let me know. The first ogre I caught, I put in my avatar's room... a 21x21 square surrounded by a lava moat. Released it, and punted the big dummy right into the drink.
