Essay on Media Violence, can't find something I need
« on: October 20, 2009, 10:36:29 am »

Hey there.  I have a three-page essay on the relationship between media violence and real world violence due in an hour, and I just need to figure out one thing.  I can't think of what I should search on Google to find this out, so I'm going to tap into your vast wellspring of knowledge.

When radio first became big, did people blame it for all the problems for which people blame TV and video games?  The point I'm wanting to get across is that every new piece of information and entertainment technology that comes out is decried for being the downfall of Western Civilization and blamed for domestic violence, obesity, and all manner of other things.

I'm not sure what I could search to get that information though.

Thanks.

EDIT:  Perhaps I was a bit premature with this thread.  I ended up skipping radio and going straight to comics, rock and roll, and Dungeons and Dragons, and the paper is still the proper length.  I'll lock this.
