Reading Legends during gameplay
« on: October 01, 2009, 08:48:12 am »

It seems like there is not, but since I am so new I thought I would ask: is there any way to read the legends page while having an active adventure or DF game going?

I constantly encounter things that I would like to follow up on while in the middle of another game. Seems silly having abandon my whole game just to learn about the war history of the goblin civ that's attacking my fortress.

I agree with this as well, maybe worth suggesting it in the forums?

If you are not apposed to kinda-sorta-cheating...

Eh, I don't think it's cheatin' if you just do it to look at legends.

I'll go one up and say that if you check legends often, it might just be best to make a copy, abandon, and use that for legend checking, particularly since world history doesn't advance while you're playing (except for fortress related things). Once you're done with the fortress, you can get rid of the copy, too.

Making the backup was the only thing I could think of too. Thanks for the responses. I think I will post this in the suggestions.
