[40d] Wooden floors don't burn in magma
« on: September 28, 2009, 05:18:36 am »

Checked the bug list and didn't see this one.

I built a structure with wooden floors near a magma pipe, then later decided I didn't like it and figured I'd get rid of the dwarven way: drowning it in magma. However, when the magma hit the structure the wooden floors refused to burn, leaving me with a bunch of wooden floors buried under 7/7 magma. The wooden pillars around it burned, so I know it's not a temperature problem, and is probably with the fact that it was a floor.

Yup, floors, walls, and fortifications will be unaffected by magma. Even if they're made out of ice.

It's not a bug so much as a standing issue with constructions.
