Modding bug

Setting plant biome to mountain makes the "Other vegetation: Thick" in worldgen, but nothing grows on the stone when embarked.

I'm guessing the "bug" is that it says "Other vegetation: thick", since nothing will ever grow on stone (unless it's muddy).

It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Muddy AND indoors, right?  I think that would make the biome subterranean, not mountain.

Allowing a plant to grow in a mountain biome might allow it to grow on muddy above-ground stone, though nothing will ever grow on dry stone.

I doubt it, though, since nothing in an ordinary plant-filled biome ever grows on stone either, muddied or not.  Those darn pebbles and boulders have always annoyed me greatly; no way to get grass, bushes, or trees to grow on them, no matter how you remove the boulders, and no matter how much water you dump on them.  (Okay, so I didn't actually experiment with varying amounts of water, but I doubt it would have changed anything; muddy is muddy, period.)
