Anyone knows a memory hack to change civs? My civ seems to be extinct for 100 years already... Anyway to hack it so that I'll be a member of another civ? The map has a few other dwarven civs that are not extinct. Don't really feel like restarting, and I don't really want to play without liaisons and king...

I have a 40d to do the hacking, but I've transferred to 40d16 for playing.

Not to doubt the mystical hacking powers of dorfs here, but I don't think such a thing exists.  I'm confused as to your problem any way.  Are you trying to play as an elf and they are gone in your world?  I'm not following what your problem is.  If you're talking about the Civs you can pick from at the embark screen, I wouldn't worry about it that much since they have only minor bearing on the actual gameplay.

I'm playing as a Dwarf, who's civ has become extinct. Thus, no Liaisons, and no king...

I'd just want to switch to another civ, so that I can get a liaisons/king.

Hmm, anyway at all to revive the Liaisons and King? Hacking the save file (though I've seen no evidence of it...)?
