If you could somehow get Windows/OS X/Linux onto your blackberry, then you could run DF on it.

I doubt it would run well at all, but you could.

My bet is that Linux will be the easiest one to put on there, though that's still up in the air how to do so.

Somehow I doubt a Blackberry has the computing power necessary to run Dwarf Fortress faster than 10fps in a 2x2 embark with only 7 dwarves.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

I say let him try, who knows a 2x2 embark area might be playable at lower levels, set the population cap low, weather/temp off etc. When you figure it out be sure to report the results.

I don't know about specs, but you could remote-client it- someone's made that.

no. dwarf fortress barely runs on a modern desktop. A blackberry has something like 1% the processor and memory does not stand a chance.
