I run XP, and XP flushes the DNS cache upon reboot.  I even tried running ipconfig /flushdns.  Bupkiss.  So that's not the fix.

But I still keep jumping tracks over to the old site, from http://dwarffortresswiki.net/etc to http://www.dwarffortresswiki.net/etc.

It especially happens when

1) editing, after saving the edit
2) also when using the sidebar link to "random page"
3) rarely, at other seemingly random times

It's getting old. Any help appreciated.

This will happen if an upstream DNS provider hasn't yet updated the DNS entries for the site.  You can use the tutorial here and the correct server IP address to force it to behave:  this IP is 64.13.253.77.
