Flooded Lowlands?
« on: September 07, 2009, 05:54:07 pm »

I generated a map with a neat 3 river intersection. The outbound flow seemed to be pretty high pressure and flooded the lowlands creating an inland lake. Anyone ever see something like this?

Yeah, known "problem" with waterfalls.  The upper river is still programmed to believe it has an exit - but it doesn't.  Its' water goes down into the river below, which is still flowing at the same rate - X amount in per second, X amount out.  Since it won't put more out to compensate for upper river, it starts to flood with pressurized water.  If there's multiple waterfalls, the pressure can be very impressive
