The blood thing i've had once or twice. i'm not sure exactly how healthy i was when it happened (has not happened for a long while now, but i've been running all this year).

The eye thing? heh, its nothing to worry about. Besides, its hardly annoying. being sensitive to bright light is though. However, its a trade off between good vision and the sensitivity, or wearing glasses 24/7.
