I think I cleared 20000. Good plays just require a straight-forward launch for high forward speed (upward is not worth any initially) good pair or 3 of combo launches without touchdown, and then using all of your up-strikes to get that faster and farther, using downstrikes to get nice combos and hits.

I wonder why the Japanese culture seems to have a liking at a reverting week? Is there are some myths like that?
Dunno about myths, but there's Groundhog Day. A lot of fiction and whatnot has taken the idea of the "repeat until satisfactory" days and such- Majora's Mask (not exactly) for instance.

Yeah, there are many like that.
Sure, it removes the need for the plot to move on, at least until the source of the space-time muzzing (Do not know the word...) is neutralised. That's why it's a favourite one.
