Sasquatches can't be tamed. At least, not without some light modding.

I have eight of them rotting in cages and have no idea what to do with them.

I was thinking of a preserve that I could throw invaders into.

Sasquatch have [EQUIPS], so put them in a pit and drop weapons and shields in for them to pick up. Then use them to slaughter captured invaders. Unfortunately, they don't have CAN_LEARN or SLOW_LEARNER and will not gain weapons skills.
