Wrestlers locked into combat... and starving

I have four or five legendary wrestlers surrounding a zombie mountain goat. For the past few months, they have all been locked in wrestling with it, and have failed to either do any damage or get out of combat.

Now, most of them are thirsty, hungry or drowsy, and all of them are tired or over-exerted.

They're probably trying to choke it to death.

And since, you know, zombies don't breathe...

Can't you send another soldier out with a bladed or crushing weapon to deal with the goat before your wrestlers fall unconscious and get goatstomped to death?

Ah. I see.
Well, no huge problem.
I used Dwarf Companion to take care of the goat.  ;D
