Since everyone has left, I'll find a house in the slums, taking a cab if it's too far. Then I'll break in quietly and see if there's anyone there. If there is, I'll try to kill him discreetly and check his pockets afterwards. Then, I'll look for any weapons and steal them. I'll also look for a laptop or video camera despite it being unlikely he has one.
