Hmm... I shall be sure to make note of it.

Of course, it affects us none, and you were not even kind enough to describe the procedures on how. So, may I ask: why not instead create a "Recent Happenings" thread on Dwarf Fortress, if one indeed does not exist? It seems rather absurd to create a thread based on one nary happening and naught else.

There is also very little room for discussion - the only recompense I can see is the fact that you have used three smilies in three sentences and used three question marks in one. So, may I ask: what does this thread have that makes it unique, interesting, and something noteworthy? I can only endeavor to think that you simply weren't planning ahead. What responses did you attempt to glean?

Nonetheless, I suppose I might as well humor myself. Therefore: since no course of action has been requested and I am the first to note this, I shall claim the course of this crumb of history.

Does anyone have any ideas of intricate, elaborate torture pits for any creature? I would give bonus points if they ended up on an altar deep below the ocean, but alas, I have none.

However, I will give my thanks to anyone who manages to do so.

I wonder.  When Toady implements the ability for your military to attack any target, does that include friendlies?  Heh.

Attack anything you don't control, iirc.

He doesn't like the idea of allowing you to order your military to attack other fortress members.

replace [INTELLIGENT] with [CANSPEAK][CANLEARN] in the dwarves raw entry... then you can have as much fun with them as you want, they wont have any feelings. after that you can switch it back. you dont need world generation for that to take effect, only a save and then game restart..
