is there such a mod
« on: August 12, 2009, 09:59:31 pm »

or utility that allows me to delete items when i place my cursor over them. its taking way too long waiting for my dwarves to move items that seem to accumulate in the doorways of my water traps which makes it so that i cant close the gates when i get attacked.

I don't think there is one, but there is a rock melting mod to dispose of rock, so that may help.

I just remembered that Dwarf Companion might be able to, it can also kill something on command ;D.

Not really possible.

You can spawn a 7 tile of magma on that spot, but I think the results of that action are obvious.

No. You can mine it out afterwords, so it makes a great way to stop people from screwing about with your stuff in bloodline forts if you start in spring an stop in winter.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

Maybe in the older versions, but I am pretty sure that in the most recent one items are destroyed just as if they were crushed in a cave-in.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead - A fun zombie survival rougelike that I'm dev-ing for.

Just build a Dwaven Atom Smasher!

edit: Reread OP. Try using bridges instead of doors?
