I'm less than thrilled by the fact that it's the same old patrician II I already have + an expansion that was only for sale in Germany and which added some minor but nice features (the vegetation changes according to seasons, and now you dont get just a fee for being a pirate: your captain gets jailed). Plus some stuff about building your own city, which I suspect is the same as in Port Royale (and I didnt like that feature in PR. Then again, unlike Patrician 2/3, PR is broken as a game.)

mount and blade: pretty similar to mediveal tota war in many ways. Theres a campaign map and a battle map, you command troops, the key difference is you are also one of the troops and you get to gallop round a bosh people with a sword
