Drink only stockpile / Barrel assignment

Either or both of these things would really helpful as I've found that once my population grows it's really hard to keep barrels available for brewing.

Barrel/bin assignment to help with the constant waste of labor of hauling barrels/bins back and forth between stockpiles and combined with the drink only stockpile to constantly keep barrels available.

Yet an other stock managing suggestion !

My feelings are that there are so many stock management requests. We should keep telling our problems, and suggesting solutions. And after a while, someone who's got time should take all posts, and sumerise the problem and proposed solutions (taking into account is suggested from the Core, req and bloat listed). We must also keep in mind that if we  want our suggestion to be applied they shoud be as simple as possible !

This might greatly help Toady One to have a better idee of improvment possibilities, and the limits of the present system.

Some way to designate stockpiles by type the same way you do armor racks would be great.  I'd love to have some way to have all my limestone dumped near the lava forge, my gold/platinum/silver bars dropped outside, and bones/shells put in their own refuse stack.

Yeah that'd probably be better than creating another type of stockpile.

It should also give priority to specific stockpiles over general ones.  So it puts bones in a bones stockpile, and only when it fills up puts bones in a general refuse pile.  And if there aren't now, there should be bones bins.  Bone doesn't actually waste away quickly, (but it might be scattered or broken by scavengers if not protected).
