I just made my first attempt at modding, an alternate crystal glass recipe (pretty popular thing to do, I guess) but after doing so I noticed that I can't cut raw glass as a gem anymore, except for green glass. Odd, because I didn't even touch clear glass.

Any ideas what's going on? This is in version d11, in case it matters.

Did you regen? If you mod a reaction in a pre-existing world, it doesn't get counted and instead it just knocks another one off.

There's an old, weird problem with glass and the jeweler's (you can't assign certain jobs at the workshop itself). Try using the Manager instead.

So it's not my fault, that's what I wanted to hear. And yes, using the manager screen took care of it... I've never got into the habit of using that, I'm going to have to remember to use the manager more often.
