That sheet music looks more like a wiring diagram for a nuclear bomb then anything.

I'd love to hear what it would sound like though, if it would even be coherant or resemble music.

Yeah, and the today's art culture just seems to be nothing but untalented fruitcakes struggling to be more pretentious then one another. Get a bad haircut, buy a rusted slab of scrap metal, slap on a pricetag and invent some haughty interpretetion that everyone will have to agree with lest they seem less revolutionary and forward-thinking as you. Bam, you are an art icon or art iconoclast.

It's true.  If anyone tries to call you out on your shenanigans, you can just say "You just don't get it" which to an artist what "Cool story bro" is to someone who thought he indeed had a cool story.

Say hello to String Quartet No. 556 (b), also by John Stump.

54/32?  How...  What?

Seriously, someone has to feed this monster into a computer...  I need to hear what it would sound like.

"With much passionfruit", "Use smooth side of violin", "Activate German hand pedal"?  Intense stuff.

Is it called Ruin Your Piano?  I hate performance art.  Nowadays it seems like you can do any retarded thing that no one else would think to do(Probably because it's retarded) and you're suddenly a visionary.

That is art. Thinking outside the box for art is defined as doing something stupid or simple, making up some crap about how it's 'a metaphor for the lack of postage stamps in todays society' and slapping on a huge price tag.

This went for five thousand God damned dollars. Man but that kind of crap pisses me off. What's that? It's a metaphor for the bleakness of life, for the blackness of the human soul, for the pure simplicity that fills the universe? NO. It is a BLACK SQUARE and as such is something a CHIMP could pull off. It is a metaphor for really stupid people who want to be 'new age'.

[/rant]

So, how 'bout that Beethoven? I hear he's a nice guy.

Well, I hate to break it to you, but thats not 5,000 dollars because it's art. It's probably a new way of selling LSD. Hallucingenic art.

That would be hilarious Zironic.

"Hey man! Come over here, I got pure 100% abstract art! All yours baby for just 5 grand! If that's not your thing, then I got some sweet Still Life shit, straight from Columbia, just 7 k and you got it!"

Well, maybe, but it doesn't look like any blotter art I've ever seen.
