As it stands right now, we can only make armor for the race we're currently controlling.  I'd like to see the option to do more than that.  When multi-racial fortresses come around, this will be pretty much a necessity.  It would also be nice to gift the humans with superb dwarf-crafted armor, specially designed for their king in the future for diplomacy purposes.

Also, traders shouldn't pay much beyond the salvageable materials cost for armor they can't wear or can't trade to someone that can wear it. 

There's also an idea about crafting armor specifically for a given dwarf or person (and maybe offering a few bonuses to that person wearing it, but penalties for everyone else).

If Dwarven NPC towns ever get shops, it'd be nice if they (and other towns) had a mixed array of armor sizes. Maybe inter-town trading could even come into play.
