Changing grid-size
« on: July 25, 2009, 10:27:01 am »

Hello! I am a big dwarf fortress noob.
I have seen a picture on the DF wiki which showed the navigator thing non-stretched (the Y axis on my screen is stretched compared to the X one).
How do I make that ?

Simpest way - download graphical version, for example
http://mayday.w.staszic.waw.pl/df.php
other way
download any liked 16x16 tileset from here
http://www.dwarffortresswiki.net/index.php/List_of_user_character_sets
and change

[WINDOWEDY:300]

this option in init.txt

You don't need a graphical tileset; you just need to change the aspect ratio for the tiles in init.txt.
