Nope.  I saw The Wall though.

Not particularly related, I know.  But it's something.

These movies don't have very descriptive titles.  What're they about?

And this is how tinned food was invented.
Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember

"Tommy" is the movie made off of the musical epic of the same name, an album released by The Who.

"The Wall" is the movie made off of the musical epic of the same name, an album released by Pink Floyd.

Yeah, crazy Ann Margaret and her chocolate room if I remember correctly. Also, I prefer the album, but both add further elucidation on the events of each other. In the album it was '21 is gonna be a good year, the movie does '41 (I think) and then there's that weird thing with the dad and Tommy's told he didn't hear it but on the album they didn't really explain what he didn't see or hear.
Weird.

"Tommy" is a Rock Opera By the Who about a boy who's father is "killed" in WWII, and when his wife takes a lover, he returns home to find them in bed, after seeing his son, who follows him into the parent's bedroom where the lover kills him. (the album has the father kill the Lover) the killer then tells Tommy "You Didn't see nothin', you Didn't hear nothin', you Won't say nothin'".

this causes Tommy to be Blind Deaf and Dumb (mute). Psychomantically at least.

fast forwards to the 70's where Tommy is put through a series ofsituations to "cure" his ailment, such as a cult devoted to Marylin Monroe, and the infamous Acid Queen (played by Tina Turner) a prostitute who tries to cure Tommy using a cocktail of drugs. Epic trip. his parents also become complacent leaving him in the care of his Coisin Kevin, who Beats tommy. they later leave him in the care of his Uncle Ernie, an alcoholic pedophile who abuses Tommy when his parents are out.

later, tommy is shown to have an amazing ability to play pinball, he (probably unknoqingly) takes on the "Local Boy" (Elton John) in a competition, Tommy wins.

he then develops his own Cult, but a doctor tells his parents that Tommy's condition is Psychomantic, which causes his mother to attack him, causing the problem to vanish.

Tommy then demands his Cult become blind Deaf and Dumb, as he was, to reach enlightenment, and his parents extort the cult for Monetary Gains, causing them to turn on Tommy, Killing his parents and leaving him with greater Enlightenment.
