Question about Tokens
« on: July 14, 2009, 02:45:29 am »

If you put the amphibious token or the aquatic token on a civ making race does this allow them to build structures underwater or will they still consider high water to be dangerous?

In fortress mode the pathfinding will always consider flying and swimming dangerous. This means that it is useless for all intents and purposes in fortress mode. As for the gened cities, those follow a template that will just put building where it wants to, regardless of gravity, so it doesn't effect that either.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Alright. Can't wait till the pathing is modified.  ;D Aquatic races and amphibious races would be a very interesting threat.
