Building with Dolomite

- Was wanting to know how I could build stuff out of dolomite? (walls, etc.)  I took it off the stock list to not be reserved, but it still wont let me build walls out of it. Bug or game?

I know its used for making steel but I have over 1k of this stuff and my fortress is still tiny.

Is it red or green in the stocks screen? It can be built with, and that's not a known bug, so it's likely you missed something.

No, not the stocks menu. You need to go to the stones menu from the status screen ('z' in game). Once there, you can check to see whether it's reserved (red) for its economic use, which is as a flux material when making pig iron and steel, or whether it's available for all other use (green).
