really strange message

My fort has been over the 200 population level for a few years.  This season I had 1 unfortunate death (non-noble, non-legendary, random dwarf).  Come mid-season, I got the "noone even considered traveling to your cursed deathtrap" message.

wtf?  ???

Possibly - only a guess - you were only going to get 1 migrant (or so), and since 100% were deterred, that message got triggered. 

But dunno.

You had a death, so the reason shifted to 'omg people keep DYING there' rather than 'it's full'.

I tend to see that a lot, but that's because most of my nobles end up in the magma pipe.

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.
