(40d) Adventure mode: Big Hands
« on: July 04, 2009, 01:52:44 pm »

In adventure mode, if you have items equipped in both hands and then "r"emove an item from a container it will allocate them to a hand, regardless of what's there already. One steel crossbow and two shields in one hand, three shields in the other.

I'll do some testing to see if this increases xp gain in shield use.

EDIT: Apparently I get 10xp with one shield, and 60xp with 6 shields equipped. Plus, my deflect chance is pretty good. Looks like I'm getting 20% for each shield.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

Yeah, this is a known issue, and a common exploit for making your adventurers slightly harder to kill.

You never know when you might need a berserk dwarf to set loose somewhere.
