The giant rat runs away leaving you in the cave.

You arrive at a big cavern. There are 4 aven bandits. There are a also a LOT of chests.

Assuming nothing that happens before me majorly changes what's going on, I activate power attack for -1 attack +1 damage, charge the nearest bandit, and Smite Evil.

Initiate combat!

If I can hit at least two bandits with Burning Hands without hitting an ally, I'll cast that. Otherwise I'll cast Mage Armor on the paladin.

Nirur casts burning hands!
And kills two aven bandits!
Org casts doom on (lower left) aven bandit!
Two aven bandits fly near Cthulhu and attack!
But both miss.
Cthulhu screams " Die! Unbeholden scum!"
He swings his weapon at one aven, but misses

These battles show that Magic Missile is overrated. I'll take a five-foot-step to the upper left and fire my sling at the rightmost bandit.

Nirur and Org move, but their both attacks miss!

Both aven bandits attack Cthulhu, but they both miss

Cthulhu attacks aven on the right and lands a hit and cuts off his head along with one wing. The sword runs out at the hip and Aven guts spill on the ground with a loud "SPLAT"
