Twilight Age?

While genning the age changed from Age of Heroes to The Twilight Age (Or Age of Twilight, I'm not sure) just before it stopped.

Does it mean anything happened, or is it just another age name that doesn't really say anything about the state of the world?

Pull the BIG lever. Even the elves should not have to see Twilight.  :P

You can check the world's legends to see what's happened. It might have to do with all the megabeasts dying or all the civilizations dying out as well.

Finding out what significant event changed the world from the Age of Heroes to the Twilight Age might give you an indication of why the ages changed.

If I recall the previous time way back that someone had a Twilight Age, it was because the people of the world are dying out and civilisation is receding.

It certainly indicates that civilizations are dying out; I think it only refers to the immortal civilizations (elves and goblins ATM), though I could be wrong.
