I think some of the DF fanbase might be interested in this indie RPG.

Gameplay video.

It is a pseudo-isometric 2d RPG in the style of Ultima VI and Dark Sun. Its combat is a faithful rendition of D&D 3.5 rules, and is turn based, genuinely tactical, and extremely fun. The game sports the ultra-low resolution of 320x240 and a horrible UI font, but bearing with those hardships is really rewarding, because the combat is simply great. The AI is amazing; casters cast web, other monsters avoid it; opponents target you spellcaster, etc.  The game rewards tactical play. Don't expect a convoluted storyline or long dialogues (there is some dialogue though), the onus is pretty much on the combat.

There is a demo.

I just bought the game and I'm having a ton of fun with it.
