I've aways wanted a game that simulated blacksmithing, but so far i've only seen some RPGs do it, but it aways lacked customization and all you did was follow a few steps and tah dah, you have a new weapon.
This is the only game i've ever seen to that takes gameplay to the forge itself.

I'm still skeptical though, i don't know how deep this "blacksmithing" might be, it could be just a bunch of mini games dressed up to look like its something related to real blacksmithing, but hell, i think its worth a try.

I imagine it will be a rythm game that is vaguely like Cooking-Mama. which is a great game, by the by.

Looks a little like a cross between harvest moon and trauma centre, I really enjoyed trauma centre.

This might be worth trying, wonder if we'll get adventurers turn up with loads of bone idols and socks to trade for some priceless armour.

Cool but I feel like the effort is wasted.

At least in Cooking Mama there is sometimes a judge that your giving the food to... In this your just kinda making stuff because.

I would love to use this stuff or see someone else use it.

Naw, you sell it to archers/paladins and all that. Didn't you read the little thing that came up? It sounds pretty fun acctually. Being the guy that built the weapons for the people that do the fun stuff?

I once played a MUD that had a realistic simulation of blacksmithing. You had to heat the iron for several minutes, wait for it to become red, type "strike bar with hammer" 10 or so times, stopping before it got cold. Reheat another 15 minutes. Repeat. For an hour. Until you got a crappy dagger and a compulsion to kill whoever programmed the stupid thing.

Does this DS game with the hammer attachment for the stylus, so you can smash the screen in frustration?

looks interesting, but not really the type of thing to play for hours on en without being atleast alittle bored

but ya never know sometimes.......sometimes..........
