Is it possible to create a pool of pure blood in DF? I'm talking about at large quantities, like a dwarf could take a bath in it or something. I had the idea of making fountains and streams going around my fortress hallways full of blood. xD

Right now, things like blood and vomit don't function as liquids, I'm sorry to say. If that is ever changed, it will be one of the most awesome things imaginable.

Right now, if you want a pool of blood, the best you can do is stain water with blood. I've read today (on this forum, too) that self-contained water is supposed to stay bloody forever. That means that you could probably move it with pumps, as long as you don't add any uncontaminated water.

I dont think pumping bloody water would work.

It desalinates the water so im pretty sure it just says that water is water and doesnt look at anything else.

seriously, i think i might of gagged a little. my imagination is legendary due to D&D back in the 80s.
