How much karma do you lose per tax evasion? Its just Im wandering if its possible to keep karma above -19 via just not looting adventurer corpses?

The fact that feature is there must mean its possible to make a living that way? Its just I would like to try it but I dont want to ruin my game at the same time, also if I could kill guards it wouldnt be a problem but I imagine they are strong

It isn't possible to make a living while evading taxes. If you have a high number of unpaid taxes, you will have a very low number of maximum karma. Guards will permanently attack you.

The best way to join the thieves guild is to:

• Hideout somewhere until you have enough unpaid taxes to join the thieves guild.
• Join the thieves guild.
• Using a disguise kit, sneak into the embassy to pay your taxes.
• Again, using a disguise kit, sneak into a town and give a guard all of those lost suitcases and wallets you were hoarding for just this purpose.
• ???
• Profit!

I only have 1 lost suitcase unfortunately but I will save them up, I do have 2 disguise kits though, theres also that quest where you get a bomb but I am wary since I worry about doing something that I am too a low level to handle the implications but on the other hand it would be good to be your own boss so to speak
