i recently read this and found it to be absoultely amazing.
hilarious and sad, it was the greatest.

so i was wondering, does anyone have a save of that map? i would love to try to do what they did.

Probably if you search hard enough.
But if you scroll down on the main DF page, you will find the older versions. Back to 2D.
Read what version they're using and just get that.

Perhaps you should ask for it on the Something Awful forums. IIRC the people who created the boatmurdered site are active posters there.

In the 2D version, there was actually a lot less variety in maps then there is now. Just look for a hot or scorching tropical jungle and most of the time you'll find a map full of elephants. Mandrills were a bit harder to find in my experience, though.
