A question I want answered

If you catch a megabeast capable of talking, and lock it in your fortress, then abandon and enter as an adventurer, what will the megabeast say? This question must be answered. FOR SCIENCE!

Megabeasts tend to hate everything, so it would probably speak to you only in the universal language, viz. blows to the head.  I'm not sure there's any way to keep a creature on your map after abandoning, anyway.

A question I want answered: why can't people make descriptive thread topics that actually say something useful? Not just you, Varkarrus, but threads like "Is it common" or "How do I", or "Help". Some people seem to have forgotten that the purpose of a thread is to give you some idea of what the thread is about, beyond just that the poster is asking a question.
