A (hopefully new) Suggestion (or 2) Regarding Bridges
« on: June 02, 2009, 05:50:25 pm »

I think one of these came up before, but it looks like it was way back in '06, so it's probably worth suggesting again.

So, I'm working on a fort with all sort of bridges and stuff, and I came up with some ideas that I felt would be really fun to have.

1) Bridges that can slope/ramp up multiple Z-levels.  So, for instance, if I have an 8 z-level tower, I can build a bridge from the top of the tower down to the 6 z-level high mountain-top.

2) Multiple types of bridges.  Most especially something like the swinging bridge in old movies which are all weak and made of wood.  Also something like a suspension bridge, where you can build towers, and then hang a bridge from them, even if it doesn't actually connect.
