Pocket World Madness
« on: June 05, 2009, 10:53:21 pm »

So I made a pocket world today.

The world itself is an island. There are 5 volcanoes, two accessible by land. There are two mountain ranges, one on the northwest coast and one in the middle. There is also a lone mountain in the south. Forests and swamps are to the east. Harsh desert (but good aligned) to the south and soft desert to the north. Two rivers come in from the west coast, just south of the mountains. They each go on an opposite side of the central mountains.

I've got two civs. Deep Elves (from the dark dwarves mod) and Savage Elves (renamed vanilla elves). There is no record of any other civ. The Deep Elves live in Daybitch in the northwestern mountains, named the Horns of Curiosity. The savages live in the southeast in the Jungle of Plays.

More later as I have fun with this world.

What's really annoying about it is that the place appears to be a natural obsidian tower built straight out of the mountainside. I can't find a way in.

Also, these are deep elves. They don't care about wood.

Deep elves are way better than savage elves though...
Also, I believe there is no way into Daybitch. I retired there, and when I loaded up, I was outside. Really odd... Maybe I should dig into the place in fortress mode (playing as deep elves of course).
