I can't log on channels from work because there's a proxy.

I have a specific Proxy HTTP and a port and I need to authentificate myself everytime...

Do you know of any Client that allows this?

Thank you very much.

Chatzilla doesn't support it.  Icechat doesn't support it.

You have to PAY 20 us$ for it!!!  :o  NO WAY!  That's almost 80 Argentinian pesos.

EDIT: oh... apparently it's a 1 time registration...  :P  Anyway.  I don't have a credit card and I don't have paypal or any means of paying it so... I NEED another way...

Huh?! You don't have to pay for the mIRC client ever, ONLY if you want to register your "copy". I am using it since years, and I never registered my "copy"... just like most of the users I guess, since it's kinda pointless to register.  :)

After 30 days it just yells at you and opens the registration window. You can still use it freely.

I couldn't use mIRC...  :-[

I open it just fine but I should have to know info about the server and the firewall and I don't...

So I'm using mibbit wich is a webpage that lets you play in IRC channels.

Works just fine even though the connection I have here sucks.  :)

There are many others out there that you can use for free. There's one that integrates into firefox, for example, that's free. I believe another was called xchat or something.
