« on: May 18, 2009, 02:38:54 pm »

Hello.

I discovered nice bug when try to solve problem with early flooded zone. After long time drainage my room i saw my room is totaly dry. The cause of that was tower-cap grown in tunnel and blocked water flow. ))

It is exactly bug! ))

So, the problem is that trees act as walls? Because this is known, and tree's are on the list for a revamp.

EDIT: Also I fail to see how this is a spoiler.

I think it counts as a bug because tower caps can and will grow under water, in rivers and such, and can completely block them off, and unless you use K to check every single tile you have no way of knowing when one will turn up.

Tower caps cannot grow adjacent to another tower cap. Just make the corridor 2 tiles wide and you won't have to worry about tower caps. Alternatively, you can pave it with stone. Trees cannot grow on roads.

Note, however, that trees can grow on muddied floors, so roads will prevent trees, while floor tiles will not.

Yeah, it's been reported several times at least.

Couldn't find it on the bug list, but there were a lot of bugs with "tree" and I didn't want to look through them all.
