So my queen showed up with a bunch of skills, amongst them "tracking," which isn't actually supposed to be in the game yet as far as I can tell.  I guess she was a ranger or something, anyway, I suppose this is a bug.

Yeah, just checked to make sure it wasn't "trapper" or something.  It's definitely "adept tracker."

How odd, maybe toady was testing it but didn't quite implement it, since it needs more work, but left it in the game anyway, though inascessible to players and most creatures, except queens apparently

Its an adventure mode skill, which NPCs can get during History Gen, of which the queen exists and the rest of your dwarves do not.

I wouldn't even call it an adventurer mode skill, since adventurers can't get it.  It's the most recently added skill (last, anyway) in the list of skill tokens, recently added explicitly for hist figs that wind up hunting monsters.  Doesn't do anything for anyone right now, outside of hist gen!

Aye, historical figures can gain it in worldgen; it doesn't do anything at all once worldgen ends, but it's not a bug.
