i have the Dungeons & Dragons: Stormreach game here in my hands. very similar to D&D 3.5

its a mmorperger.

its actually very faithful to the games. even has dungeon traps and the like.

i don't use it anymore.

So I finally got a hold of a copy of ToEE, and it's trying my patience.  The glitches aren't that bad, although there are some issues with poison and encrumbrance that are really bothersome.  The real problem is the difficulty.  I know that it's supposed to be a challenge, and I'm supposed to use tactics.  The problem is that I do, and I still lose because my characters never hit.  No one hits.  This is my second party and this is still going on.  Stat-wise they're good, they just can't hit.

I'm getting dangerously close to trying to find a real game online, but I have crippling RP anxiety when I'm playing with people.

There's a bug where some characters in ToEE never hit.. I found that after the record shows that one character had a 40 or so streak of never hitting, lol, even when shooting unarmored mages. ToEE is still a great game, with all the bugs. Just never play it on Ironman mode. It seems to be a bit too easy in that temple, IMHO

Just ignore the RP anxiety.. I get into a lot of good games by just not worrying about looking stupid.

I haven't even gotten to the temple, I'm still trying to do the moathouse.  I'm at the spot with all the bugbears.  There are like seven of them and my guys are still level 2.

I know, but I've sworn off MMOs.

EDIT:  Apparently I just needed to recruit Elmo(The mentally challenged fellow you meet right when you walk into Hommlet.  He can seriously throw down) and level up once.  I still lost to the bugbears, but just because my rogue is an idiot.

This time I've got them.
