This is great. Some of it I already knew, but the stuff I didn't definitely gave me some ideas on primitive science fiction races, and also the Antmen already in DF. Hopefully one day DF will be able to simulate this ant behavior completely.

Saw it a while ago. It's a good video.

I remember being taught as a child about that hive mind bullshit and not understanding it. I was constantly questioning it until I had no choice but to accept it since no alternative explanation was offered.

Sounded to me that if ants can do that hive mind and 100% efficiency stuff, why don't scientists study it more? This shit could really improve our lives.

At least now I know the truth. Still a brilliant system of jury rigged evolution.
