The look of the current Mayday boulder/stone has always bothered me when it is used as rough hewn walls, such as andesite. I threw this together to remedy it, and it works well on the rough hewn walls as well as the boulders jutting out of the ground (i.e. rocky wastelands and in forests)

It can also be used to replace the rock icon, but they are distinct, so it could be used for just one or the other:

Take a look:

As Jutting boulders in Rocky waste:

As Rough Hewn wall and boulders in forest:

As Rock:

As Dyers shop and Rough Hewn wall:

As Rock stacked in stockpiles (including microline), rough hewn walls, and boulders:

Feel free to use in tilesets

Ah thanks, will use this. Andestite walls did look rather odd indeed.

Though using this for rocks might look odd for catapults and such.

I make Grimlocke's History & Realism Mods. Its got poleaxes, sturdy joints and bloomeries. Now compatible with DF Revised!

When using catapults against infantry (rather than against fortifications), a pile of rocks works much better than one huge boulder.
